1.0 John 7 New King James Version (NKJV)
1.1 Read John7:2, Zechariah14:16, Acts 18:21, Deuteronomy 16:16. Are new Covenant Christians of Gentiles origins supposed to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles?
Yes, if Paul celebrated it, Jesus celebrates it, and during the Millennium rule by Jesus in the future, everyone must also celebrate it. But the way we celebrate it may be a bit different from how the Jews celebrate it.
1.2 Prayer :
Father God , you have ordained us to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacle. You said we should celebrate it forever even during the Millenium rule by Jesus. So I purpose in mind heart to celebrate it from now on. I will honor and esteem every commands You ordained for me. During the FOT, I will acknowledge Your faithfulness and goodness to take care of the children of Israel in the wilderness, even when they were faithless. Even when they are faithless , You remain faithful! We bless You in Jesus’ name.
1.3 Read John 7:15. John14:26, 1stJohn2:20, 1stJohn2:27 . Where did Jesus received His teachings & how can we follow Him?
Jesus was taught by the Holy Spirit (John 14:26 & 1John2:27) Likewise, we are supposed to be taught by the Holy Spirit , by the Spirit of Revelation. Without the Spirit of revelations to teach us, we will be like the Pharisees, unable to discern that Jesus Christ who stands in front of them is the Messiah , while others mentioned in the gospel , like the blind man Bartimaeus recognized Jesus as Messiah although he was blind.
1.31 Prayer:
Holy Spirit teach me Your Word just as You taught Jesus. Teach me by revelations because You are the Spirit of wisdom & understanding. Because Your word need to be spiritually discerned. Help me to tune my mind to the frequency of my Father’s love, goodness, His faithfulness, as I read the Word and learn deeper & deeper the things that Jesus is teaching. Help me to read the Bible from the eyes of my Father God’s heart of love for His children.
1.4 Read John 7:23-24 (amplified). What is Jesus trying to say about interpretations of the laws of God?
God’s law has to be interpreted by looking from our Father God’s perspective, thru eyes of love, a Father’s love to His children. A person who don’t see God as their Father, but as a king waiting for us to make mistake and punish us, will become very very religious, like the Pharisees. We need to have a balance, see God as our loving Father, as well as revered Him as King & Lord.
John 7:23-24 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
23 If, to avoid breaking the Law of Moses, a person undergoes circumcision on the Sabbath day, have you any cause to be angry with (indignant with, bitter against) Me for making a man’s whole body well on the Sabbath?
24 Be honest in your judgment and do not decide at a glance (superficially and by appearances); but judge fairly and righteously.
1.41 Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for revealing the truth about the Sabbath to me. Yes I purpose in my heart to honor the Sabbath, to spend at least 1 day a week soaking in the love of God my Father. Thank You for the law, thank You Holy Spirit we should understand and obey Your the 10 commandments with Your love.
1.5 Read John7:26-27 & Micah 5:2. Is it really true when the Christ comes, no one will know where He comes from? Is that what the OT is saying?
No, Micah 5:2 says the Messiah will be birthed in Bethlehem.
1.6 Read John7:30 & Job 1:10 & Heb 1:7. What does it mean no one laid hands on Jesus because His hour had not yet come? How does this applies to us?
This verse showed that there is a invisible hedge of supernatural protection around Jesus. No one can touch Him unless God allows it. It is Jesus willingness to laid down His life that the Pharisees and the Romans soldiers can capture Him. The same applies to us, as long we keep trusting the Lord, we don’t allow fear (Job 3:25) to enter our lives, there is no way the devil or any physical harm can afflict us.
1.61 Prayer:
Faithful loving Father God, precious Holy Spirit. Thank You thank You thank You for the hedge of protection around me, the wall of fire. And most of Your everlasting love for me. Nothing can harm me, because Your love for me protects me & Your love will never fail. Thank You Abba Father, we love You in Jesus’name. Amen.
1.7 Read John 7:38-39 & John 4:14. Read John 20:22 & Luke 24:49. Why does Jesus describe the Holy Spirit as rivers of living water in John 7:38-39 , but spring of water in John 4:14?
The spring of water mentioned in John 4:14 is talking about the vacuum or emptiness anyone who did not have the Holy Spirit will felt. Having the Holy Spirit within us, is like having our thirst quenched & emptiness filled.
The Holy Spirit will flow out like rivers of living water if we pray in the Spirit. The river of living water comes from the Holy Spirit residing inside our belly. Those who are spiritual can sense it coming forth like a river & demons will be expelled, when they are exposed to that river.
Praying in tongues help us to be in the Spirit, because you are engaging the Spirit inside your spirit man as well as the anointing upon you, to give you utterance to pray mysteries according to God’s perfect will and purpose, so that all things will work together for good for those who loves Him. (Romans 8:26-28)
Romans 8:5 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
5 For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and [a]pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and [b]seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.
1 Corinthians 14:2 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
2 For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].
2.0 John 8 New King James Version (NKJV)
2.1 Read John 8:1-12. Read 2Cor3:7-9. Why did the religious law abiding Pharisees want to test Jesus & accuse Him?
Jesus was operating under the law of Love or under grace. The Pharisees are operating under law of Moses, which is the ministry of death and condemnation written on tablets of stones. They tried to accuse Him of siding with sinners, tax collectors, breaking the Sabbath by healing the sick. They tried to find excuses to kill Jesus. They tried to trap Jesus by bringing this woman who was caught committing adultery. But Jesus’ answer was he who have no sin throw the first stone. Jesus indirectly is saying – “don’t everyone of you know you all have sin, including this woman. What we all need is grace. Because the law is a ministry of condemnation”. Jesus could only say such thing because He carries the heart of God the Father. A heart of Father’s love.
So we must all interpret the scriptures from the heart of our Father God’s love for all His children.
2 Corinthians 3:7-9 New King James Version (NKJV)
7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
2.2 Read John 8:11-12. Jesus do not condemn sinners who come to Him but sin no more. Can you explain the connection between verse 11 & verse 12.
Jesus is saying although under grace, we are no longer condemn. But if we continue to walk in sin, we are walking in darkness. Walking in darkness will not lead to life. Walking in darkness, put us back into kingdom of darkness at the mercy of Satan & his demons.
2.21 Prayer:
Father God, thank You for Your richness in mercy and abundance of grace & with such great love You have love us through Jesus. Thank You that Jesus was already condemned for my sins, so I no longer am condemn. I purpose in my heart to walk in path of righteousness, feeding on Your Word daily & obeying them, obeying Your will, obeying the leading of Your Spirit everyday of my life. By Your strength, I shall not walk in sin, not walk in darkness, but walk in Your light, Your statutes & precepts, walk in ways that bring pleasure to You & honor to Your holy name.

2.3 Read John 8:13-19. Colossians 1:15. Deuteronomy 17:6. What can you say about the identity of Christ Jesus?
Jesus is the image of the invisible God. If you seen Jesus, if you know His ways, you would have know God the Father. God the Father is invisible, earth is His footstool, He is omnipresent. Yet Jesus in His earthly form was 100% Son of man, and God the Father was with Him, thru the Holy Spirit upon Him bearing witness thru the signs and wonders that He is the Messiah. It is a mystery that we have 3 identities, yet each of them profess they are One and the same. But the easiest way to make prebelievers understand is there is only One God expressing Himself in 3 ways. Just as we humans are actually spirit beings living in a human vessel. Our human vessel plus our human spirit = 1. Likewise One God expressing in 3 forms. The personality of Jesus – His ways, His compassion, His mercy, His faithfulness, His goodness – everything about Jesus is the perfect projection of the person of God the Father.
2.4 Read John 8:28 , John 7:15, Luke 2:52. Read 1st John2:20. It looks like Jesus had to be taught when He was young. Why is it so? How can Jesus’ model of being taught by the Father be applied to us?
Jesus was born Son of man, 100% human. In Luke 2:52, Jesus was growing in wisdom & not instantly knows everything. He was gradually taught by the Holy Spirit by revelations. The spirit man inside Jesus was 100% God and knows all things. But His natural human flesh prevented Him from receiving all the knowledge at once. It had to be drawn out by the Holy Spirit by renewal of His mind. It is the anointing inside Him that teaches Jesus from young age. Until when He reaches 30 something, Jesus was baptized in water & with the Holy Spirit coming upon Him, He receive power. Then he starts performing miracles, healing the sick, casting out demons.
What can we learn from Jesus here. Everything Jesus did, was a model for us to imitate so that we can inherit the kingdom of God on earth, not in heaven, which He already purchase with His blood. His blood sealed the blood covenant for us to inherit the Kingdom of God.
We are just like Jesus, when we are born again, our spirit man are recreated in the image of Jesus, the Holy Spirit come inside our spirit and the bible said we are joined to the Lord as one Spirit.(1st Cor6:17)
1 John 2:20-25New King James Version (NKJV)
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.[a
In our spirit man, because of the Holy Spirit within us, 1st John2:20 says we know all things. But this knowing all things is same as what Jesus experienced, it had to be drawn out by revelations from the Holy Spirit who lives inside our spirit man. Only revelations from the Holy Spirit can renew our soulish mind so that it become more and more yielded to our born again spirit man. The more our mind is renewed to the mind of Christ, and align to our born-again spirit man which is perfect image of Christ, the sooner we will start walking in the supernatural, the abundant life, doing things that Jesus did on earth.
2.5 Read John 8:31-32 amplified version. How does this statement applies to Christians who need deliverance?
John 8:31-32Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
31 So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples.
32 And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
This verses is saying those who believes in Him, hold fast to His teaching and live according to them, are truly Jesus’ disciples. Disciples are not just ordinary Sunday Christians , but they are doers of His Words. They will have experiential knowledge of His teachings & they will be set free from all demonic oppression, bondages.
2.51 Prayer: (All confess)
Lord Jesus, although You are God, but You stripped Yourself completely of Your power to become 100% human to come into this world & demonstrate to us human how we should live our lives. I repent from any disobedience to Your Word. I purposed in my heart to obey every Word that You taught, so that Your truth will set me free from the power of darkness, so that I can walk in the fullness of Your kingdom of heaven on earth.
I also purposed in my heart to learn from the anointing, from the Spirit of revelation which You have already deposited upon us. Your anointing is the Spirit of revelation. Your Spirit will teach us all truths that comes from You alone. Thank You Holy Spirit, thank You Jesus!
2.6 Read John 8:39-44. See how Jesus revealed openly the secret intentions in the Pharisees’ hearts about being slaves to the spirit of murder, but they can’t see what is wrong & they justify themselves instead of repenting with contrite hearts. How do we Christians guard ourselves to prevent such blindness to sin (any sin) , from coming upon us.
We can read the Word and let the Word become a mirror to show where our sins are (James 1:23) , and we repent quickly.
We can begin our daily prayers time by asking the Holy Spirit to search us especially for blind spots & convict us of anything we need repenting. Unrepentant sins open doors to backlash, to attacks from the devil. It benefits us to repent quickly and shut the open doors.
2.61 Prayer:
Holy Spirit, please reveal to me any area in my life that is displeasing to You , coz You are the one I love. Show me where I have sinned unknowingly or even knowingly. Is there any hardness in my conscience, help me to see where I go wrong. Help me to see things from Your perspective. I purpose in my heart to walk in love, release longsuffering, kindness, humility, faith , hope & self control or temperance. I yield my soul , my life, my body to You. Have Your way in me Holy Spirit.
1 Timothy 3:16 New King James Version (NKJV)
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God[a] was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
Closing Prayer:
Father God, thank You for Your revelations about Jesus. That Jesus is You almighty God becoming flesh , He is Your perfect image. He is Your love that You poured upon us. Jesus came into this world to show us how much You love us, to teach us about walking in love, about walking in faith in Your kingdom principles & authority, teaching us & demonstrating to us walking by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
Teaching us all these is achieved thru the sacrifice of His blood on the cross – so that we can enter into the blood covenant , the New Covenant with You. We thank You Holy Spirit, the Spirit of revelation for revealing all these truth to us , so that our mind is renewed & we are indeed transform into the image of Christ, in both spirit & soul. With a grateful heart , we declare we love You Abba Father. We thank You Jesus for everything . Amen!
